We are hosting the second virtual iteration of our Career Exploration Series on Wednesday, December 9th at 6:30 pmEST. This series features talks by graduates of the chemical sciences who have transitioned to successful careers in a variety of fields.
Join us for a Career Exploration Talk on the food manufacturing industry by Darren Telepanich. Darren has a background in the chemical sciences, having completed his post-secondary studies in Chemical Engineering Technology at Mohawk College. He started off his career as a Product Developer with Maple Leaf Foods, and has navigated his career followed by various management roles in Maple Leaf Foods, Canada Bread, and Sofina Foods.
This talk will provide an introduction into the role of a Director of Research & Development, an overview of Darren’s career path, and advice on professional development for students and young professionals. A Q&A session will follow.
