The National Chemistry Week (NCW) is an annual, week-long celebration of the chemical sciences in all provinces and territories in Canada. It’s a great opportunity for youth to get connected with the wonders of chemistry and for the not-so-young to appreciate the positive aspects of chemistry through hands-on experiments, games, demonstrations, lectures, exhibitions and more.
In the celebration of NCW 2016, the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) and Chemical Institute of Canada, Toronto Section will be hosting a science fair with hands-on exhibitions related to Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
All are welcome to attend and participate.
We are currently recruiting volunteers for demonstrations:
- Students (Grade 5 to Post-Graduate), bring your previous posters and present again.
There is still time to register. High School, college and University students are welcome.
- Chemistry / Chemical Engineering industry professionals
- Volunteer hours will be awarded to the high school students.
