On January 12th, the CIC Toronto Section and Women in Chemistry Toronto (WiCTO) kicked off their first joint mentorship program at the University of Toronto Chemistry Department with a Meet and Greet event. 60 participants, a mixture of mentors and mentees, came to the department to socialize over snacks and a make-your-own hot chocolate bar. The mentorship program aims to pair Undergraduates with Graduate students in the Department of Chemistry for a semester to help Undergraduate students through their degrees.
